About Me
I am a practicing Clinical Herbalist, Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist and yoga practitioner whose commitment to natural healing therapies began some 25 years ago.
Schooling
I graduated from David Winston’s Center for Herbal Studies a two-year intensive herbalist training program and a one-year graduate program. These programs encompassed Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurvedic Herbal Medicine, Cherokee Herbal Medicine, Physio-Medicalism, Thompsonian Herbal Medicine, Medicine of the Eclectics, Unani-Tibb and Western European Herbal Medicine.
Prior to this program, I studied at the California College of Ayurveda for six years and graduated with certificates as an Ayurvedic Health Practitioner and finishing as a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist.
My years of
herbal schooling introduced me to hundreds of herbs,
their uses, contraindications and formulas. Each individual is unique with specific needs and my formulas are created with that purpose in mind.
I am a member of the American Herbalist Guild, American Botanical Council, United Plant Savers and a board certified professional member of NAMA (National Ayurvedic Medical Association).
My family and I live on a ranch in the De Luz Canyon of Temecula, California. We have an organic vineyard, grow organic tango mandarins (Cuties) and organic avocados.
